Our School Council is a pupil led group that uses the Smart School Councils approach to make sure children’s voices are genuinely heard. Members are chosen through a fair vote, share ideas from their classes, and take part in regular, well organised meetings where they discuss issues and vote on decisions.

This helps pupils learn about teamwork, leadership and how democracy works in real life. The council supports the National Curriculum through Citizenship and PSHE, promotes British values, and meets Ofsted expectations by showing that pupils are confident, listened to and actively involved in improving their school.
